The discs can be easily cleaned with detergent and water. If the discs need to be applied to a ceiling make sure that the disc is attached firmly to the surface. You may also put the disc in a soft plastic box such as cassette tape box and attach it to the ceiling with strong adhesive two side tape or Velcro.
